THERE MUST BE SOMETHING WE CAN DO

Hiscox Art Projects Exhibition: Nothing can stop us now

In his new paintings, Hicks has chosen to capture the instant in which bubbles are momentarily formed on the edges of washing-up bottles. Teetering on the edge, the bubbles act as fleeting glimpses of the minutiae of domestic existence, bringing into literal focus the banality of everyday human life.

The exhibition opened to the public from 30 May to 17 July 2003 at Hiscox.
